Tool - Leica 3, circa 1932This camera belonged to my father.  He somehow taught me to use a rangefinder and then let me take it on a fourth grade field trip to Sacramento.  Wonder where those photos are now?

I don’t recall where I acquired this camera as it was sitting on a shelf collecting dust for years.  A couple weeks ago, I took it apart, cleaned it, filed the aperture to increase its size, subsequently broke the shutter mechanism, then miraculously fixed it.  (I felt awfully proud!)  I took the camera along on my walkabout with Mr. Goedde and plan to use it more.
